My Favorite Things

Cindy, at my romantic home, is hosting a "My Favorite Things" weekend, so I thought I'd join in. It's hard to pick one favorite thing, but this item is definitely at the top of my list.

I found this pink milk glass compote on ebay and just fell in love with it. I have one matching piece, but this one is still my favorite. I'm not big on collections, I just like a special piece of this and a special piece of that. :)

I needed to get out and about so I decided to try and find some garage sales today. I didn't find much...you'd think people would create signs that actually made getting to their place easier...sheesh. Anyways, I did find these beautiful pink candlestick holders for $5. They are glass and they are heavy. Now I don't know anything about them, but they seem like they might be depression or sandwhich glass. In any event, I love them!!

I am approaching my 50th post. Stay tuned for a special blog giveaway!!

Love your pink compote and those candlesticks! I have a magazine rack like yours - shaped like a harp - got it at an estate sale. I love it.

I've seen lots of milk glass but I don't think I've ever seen it in this pretty shade of pink. Your rosy new candleholders are a pretty find, too.
