Fresh Flowers

Finally!! I have lived here for 2.5 years and have not been able to do any landscaping or flower planting. Ok...I take that back, I did manage to get some peonies in the ground last year, but I haven't gotten a bloom from them yet.

Since this neighborhood was new construction, it's pretty barren, so I am starting from scratch. Of course, I have grand plans, but for some reason Mr T seems to think it's more important to make the mortgage payments than buying plants.....men! LOL

So, we will be doing this slowly and in stages. I did manage to fill a couple of containers. Here's a picture of one by my front door. I'll have pics of the others soon.

I also managed to buy some hydrangeas and a rose bush to plant. So that will be this weekend's project.

Here are a couple of things I found at Marshall's. This pitcher is so pretty, I can't wait to put some flowers in it.

This hanging planter was an amazing find! It was only $15 and it's going to hang outside for the summer.
